They gave us a free starter to share and at the end of the meal bought out a desert with a candle for my mum in law, all singing happy birthday. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. “ Me and my partner stayed at a star gazing dome in a campsite nearby and heard about this place when booking our stay. The food was so good! So tasty, the staff were so lovely, gave my partner some chocolates and a beer on the house, such a kind touch! Would definitely recommend to everyone, portions are a great size, my partner is a chef himself and has been very impressed by the food! We will definitely be back if we are in the area! “ Just had a fantastic meal at the Gurkha Palace. If you plan to visit look out for the Cheques pub, the restaurant is in the rear part of the building. I can’t understand why it wasn’t busier (Thursday night). Parking is easy and there were lots of tables free. I’m sure if it was busy I would have scored them 5 for atmosphere. ”
